Jillian Rubman is a portrait, event and travel photographer from Boston, Massachusetts.  She has eight years of photography experience in the US and abroad, and is spending 2010-2012 photographing Europe from home bases in Hungary and Spain.

In past years, Jillian's work has been featured in exhibits in Concord, Dedham, and Waltham, Massachusetts.  Her photos appear in album art for the band Soundscape Rebellion.  In 2006 her portfolio of black-and-white portraits earned a Mass College of Art Book Award as well as a Gold Key in the Boston Globe Scholastic Art Awards.

As a grant recipient in Brandeis University's Bernstein Festival of the Arts, Jillian produced the exhibition "Beautiful Bodies: History's Reshaping of the Ideal Female Form" in 2008. This three-week exhibit used photography and photo-manipulation to show the changeability of standards of female beauty throughout history.
